Program Overview

Kaptiv8 is Bridge Forward Technology’s mentorship and training program designed to expand access, build skills, and create new opportunities for youth and adults across Fresno and the Central Valley. Based at our Technical Training Center in Downtown Fresno, Kaptiv8 combines free high-speed internet access, a safe and supportive learning environment, hands-on technology training, mentorship, and career preparation.

Participants gain practical experience in areas such as networking, cable termination, digital media, customer service, public speaking, and AI-powered business tools. The program is designed to help participants build confidence, develop real-world skills, and prepare for strong career pathways that rely on human judgment, communication, and hands-on technical ability.

By combining access, training, and future-focused skill development, the program ensures that Fresno’s underserved youth are equipped to succeed in today’s economy and prepared to lead in the future.

Mentorship Program

The Kaptiv8 Mentorship Program is a Fresno-based youth development and digital equity initiative serving students in grades 7–12, with a focused commitment to Southwest Fresno and other underserved communities across Fresno County. Operated by Bridge Forward Technology, the program is anchored at the Technical Training Center in Downtown Fresno, providing a centralized hub for Training, technology access, and workforce-aligned skill development.

Kaptiv8 is designed to address critical gaps in internet access, training, and career exposure by combining free public access to high-speed internet with structured mentorship and hands-on learning. With the extended closure of the downtown Fresno library, the Technical Training Center may currently serve as the only consistent free public internet access point in downtown Fresno, positioning the program as an essential community resource.

Program Purpose
